What IS Cold Process Soap anyway?

If you found yourself on this page, you may know the answer to this question already. But maybe this is all new to you.

So, what is cold process soap?

*The cold process method of soap-making is the traditional method, using raw ingredients, from scratch.

Cold process soap is made from naturally occurring ingredients such as oils, butters and herbs. Opposed to many commercial soaps, that use synthetic detergents.

Our soaps are made through a slow "curing" process, in order for the water to evaporate from the soap, which results in a harder, longer lasting bar of soap.

Commercial soaps often contain harsh chemicals, such as sodium laurel sulfate, which can irritate the skin. Cold process soap is free from these harmful chemicals, making it a safer and more natural option.

We source of butters and oils from reputable vendors and aim for the highest quality ingredients for all of our products.

*Different oils and butters lead to different properties in each bar of soap.. But more on that at another time.

Thank you for stopping by!
